Yes it's safe and works. I've used Kvarks last Ivona upload since May. This version is almost the same, I just installed it. British English Amy voice is my favourite! Very soothing and realistic indeed. Though the voices seem hard to fully crack, and I get a trial expired message after so many weeks- But I remove all ivona products with free Revo unistaller and then start again, no fuss.

I use the voices with free Ivona Mini Reader from their website -which has a nice small floating toolbar- but be sure to decline -untick- the offer of the trial voices towards the end of the install. Thanks Kvark112. Couldn't get it or the voices to work. Even in another program. It kept shooting back with a 'trial expired' window instead, even though I'd just installed it.
I'll be trying again, of course, but I'm not sure it'll be different for me. Windows 7 x64, is there a way to make it work on a 64 bit system, or am I just S.O.L?
E package apache2 has no installation candidate. Internet was disconnected/blocked & anti-virus wasn't interfering.:( Wish I'd gotten it to work like other people did.
